Since 2019, Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse Television have forged a collaboration that is bringing terror to the platform's screens. The latest from this television partnership will soon hit our screens: ' House of Spoils: The House of Whispers '. It is, according to the press release, a tense, psychological, and sensual thriller that will leave hearts beating and mouths watering.

Starring Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose ( West Side Story ), Barbie Ferreira ( Euphoria ) and Arian Moayed ( Who Is Anna? ) are the two stars. The cast also includes Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas. The film is written and directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy, who previously collaborated on Take Down the Man.

What is 'House of Spoils: The House of Whispers' about? Synopsis

Follows an ambitious chef ( Ariana DeBose ) who opens her first restaurant on a remote farm-to-table ranch. There she battles kitchen chaos, a dubious investor, crushing self-doubt…and the powerful spirit of the ranch's previous owner who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.

Food stylist Zoe Hegedus has served as a consultant on the film. Her previous work includes ' Midsommar,' 'Poor Things,' 'Dune: Part 1,' and 'Dune: Part 2.' Hegedus specializes in creating food for film, television series, immersive dining experiences, food installations, and edible tablescapes.
